About the 2024 Ateker Football for Peace Tournament
Hosted by H. E. Napotikan Lomorukai Jeremiah Waziri and Leah Audan Lokala, the 2024 Ateker Football for Peace Tournament brings together teams from across the Ateker region and beyond. The tournament will feature fierce competition between:
- West Pokot
- Toposa FC (South Sudan)
- Nyangatom FC (Ethiopia)
- Karamoja FC (Uganda)
- Kalobeyei Marines FC
- Kakuma Municipality FC
- Loki Central FC
- Desert Warriors FC
- Kakuma United FC
- And of course, our very own Hillside FC
The elimination matches will be held in Kakuma Municipality, with the final match taking place in Kalobeyei. The tournament is supported by renowned sponsors, including FilmAid Kenya, The Lutheran World Federation, Kenya Red Cross, and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
